A fire broke out Sunday in a nature reserve in the Western Galilee, decimating approximately 50 hectares of forest.

16 units arrived to fight the blaze, aided by multiple firefighting planes, and two out of the fire's three centers were contained.

A preliminary investigation revealed the fire was caused by the ignition an olive tree.
