Firefighters rescue people trapped in burning building in east Jerusalem

Firefighters and Israel's rescue team responded to a fire in a building at the border of Beit Hanina with Shuafat neighborhoods in east Jerusalem, as reported by Jerusalem's Distric Court.

The firefighters rescued a number of people trapped in the building. One woman was rescued and taken to treatment by MDA medics after inhaling smoke.

The response team continue to rescue more people who are trapped in the apartments, while other teams concentrate efforts to take control of the fire on the second floor.
