Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Amikam Norkin promoted Major G to commander of Flight Squadron 122. Major G, 34-years-old, will be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and will be the first female flight squadron commander. 'I am pleased by the promotion,' she said in a statement released by the IDF Spokesperson. 'It is a great honor beside a great responsibility. The real work waits. I am proud to serve in the Air Force.'
