Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee to vote on calling up 1,400 Border Police reserve officers

Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee MK Tzachi Hangbi called for an emergency meeting of the committee to approve the call up of reserve officers due to emergency circumstances.

The committee will vote on allowing the IDF to call up 1,400 Border Police officers to increase security throughout the country in light of the heightened security situation.
