Foreign Minister Liberman offers condolences, support to Denmark in wake of attacks

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman spoke with his Danish counterpart Martin Lidegaard on Sunday in the wake of the deadly attacks in Copenhagen, offering condolences and solidarity.

Liberman said that Israel stands with the people of Denmark and supports it, especially since Israelis know all too well the difficulties of dealing with terrorism.

He continued by saying that the state of Israel appreciated Denmark's work in protecting Israelis and Jews in the nation and offered Israel's cooperation in return whenever it is needed.

"We will continue to deepen cooperation between our nations."
