Foreign Ministry director general to travel to Egypt on Monday

Director General of the Foreign Ministry Yossi Gal will travel on Monday to Egypt for a one-day working visit. He will meet with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and other officials, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Gal and his hosts will discuss regional and bilateral issues. The visit, which aims to promote relations between Egypt and Israel, is part of the regular contacts maintained by the two states, the statement said.
