Former Israeli envoy to US says personal animus between premier, president never this bad

Michael Oren, the former Israeli ambassador to the United States, told Israel Radio on Wednesday that while Washington and Jerusalem have experienced crises and bitter disputes over policy, the personal animus between the president and the prime minister is as bad as it has ever been.

Oren told Israel Radio that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Barack Obama “have deep ideological divisions.”
