Four man charged with kidnapping of Jerusalem man over NIS 3,000 debt

Four men from southern Israel were charged on Thursday with kidnapping of a Jerusalem man and extorting his family for his release, Israel Radio reported.

The four were arrested two weeks ago on suspicion they kidnapped the man because he owed NIS 3,000 to one of them.

The four allegedly demanded the man's family to pay a NIS 21,000 ransom to secure his release.
