One person was killed, another was seriously injured and three were moderately injured in a head on collision at the Ledo junction near the Dead Sea on Wednesday night.

Two more were in light-to-moderate condition.

MDA paramedics treated the injured on the scene before they were set to be transported by helicopter to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba and Haddasah University Medical Center in Jerusalem's Ein Kerem.
