France and Ukraine sending planes to fight the flames

France and Ukraine have each offered to dispatch two firefighting aircraft to Israel, as the country battles fires across the North and Center of the country.

When those four aircraft arrive, in addition to the "super tanker" from the US, and aircraft from Turkey, Russia, Italy and Croatia, Israel will have received 16 aircraft in total from abroad, more than doubling the capacity to fight the blazes in remote areas.

Planes from Greece and Cyprus are already in operation, however they cannot fly missions through night.
