Gabbay defends decision to oust Livni from Zionist Union

Avi Gabbay commented on his decision to oust Tzipi Livni  from the Zionist Union on Tuesday.
"Tzipi Livni has become a burden, the polls are saying it isn't me," Gabbay said according to Israeli media on Tuesday. "We will bring more seats without her."
Gabbay made the announcement on Tuesday night where it is clear from Livini's stern face that she was not privy to the information. Gabbay said he accepted the request of former Labor leader Isaac Herzog in July to keep the partnership going and faced massive criticism inside Labor when accepted Livni's demand to be opposition leader, but now decided to go in a different direction.
