IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz said Monday that the current changes in Middle East have "re-drawn the strategic map," and that the the IDF would "not be flexible or compromise our level of preparedness" Army Radio reported.

Gantz made the comments during an annual ceremony for the Givati Brigades, which was also addressed by Home Front Defense Minister Matan Vilnai.
