Hamas Foreign Minister Muhammad Awad on Sunday said that security forces in Gaza closed all land and sea border crossings into the Strip to prevent the murderers of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigoni from escaping the area.

Awad said that an interrogation of two people suspected of being involved in the murder continues.

He added that the Hamas government has decided to name a street in Gaza after Arrigoni.
