German official changes mind, tells public to wear kippot on Sabbath

The German government's commissioner to combat antisemitism, Felix Klein, called on the public on Tuesday to wear kippot on the upcoming Sabbath and to join a protest organized by the Jewish community against the annual Al Quds Day in Berlin, according to Kan news.
On Saturday, Klein called on Jews in Germany to avoid wearing kippot in public because of rising antisemitism, saying “I cannot advise Jews to wear the kippot everywhere all the time in Germany.”
