Beloved Israeli actress and Israel Prize laureate Gila Almagor was rushed to hospital on Thursday after feeling unwell.

Earlier reports in the media said Almagor had a stroke, but doctors ruled that out."Thank God, it's not a stroke," Almagor confirmed in a phone conversation to Channel 10 on Thursday evening



The Habima National Theater canceled Thursday night's performance of "Bikur HaGeveret" (The Visit) where Almagor stars as famed billionairess Claire Zachanassian.
