A seven-year-old girl was seriously injured after she was hit by a car in the village of Peki'in on Wednesday.

Magen David Adom emergency crews airlifted the girl in serious condition to Rambam Hospital.

According to initial investigations, the girl crossing the street in an undesignated area.

The driver was taken for questioning.
