Gunshots were fired at a shopping mall in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday, though there were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests and it was unclear where exactly the shooting occurred, police said.

The East Towne Mall said on its website it was "temporarily closed due to a safety concern," but provided no further information.

"We do have an incident right now and police are on scene. There were no reports that any mall patrons are in danger at this time," said Ricardo Franco, a Madison Police Department officer.
