Hamas invited Fatah to implement the conditions that were agreed upon some months ago for reconciliation between the two political groups, UPI in Arabic reported Sunday.
According to a statement received by UPI from the Islamist group, Hamas called on Fatah to carry out promises made in the reconciliation agreement, which was signed in Cairo.
Hamas insisted that true reconciliation to be achieved through "in-depth dialogue" come before negotiations with Israel.
The reconciliation deal between the groups came to a standstill after Fatah and Hamas failed to agree on a prime minister who would lead a unity government.
