Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh called Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to congratulate him on his victory in Turkey's elections held Sunday, according to an official Hamas statement.

A Hamas delegation will soon visit Turkey to convey the movement's support for Turkey's president in person, the statement said.
