Haredim protest Tiberias excavation; 5 detained

Five haredi men were arrested on Wednesday after they blocked a street in Tiberias in protest of excavations being carried out at the site, police stated.

The men were part of a group of demonstrators in the area, protesting the excavations at a site they claim contains Jewish graves.The five were arrested after they refused to evacuate the area.
