MK Amir Mitzna (Hatnua) stated that to further the nation's goals, a change in the government coalition is necessary. Talking to an Israel Radio reporter, Mitzna further claimed that coalition parties Likud and Bayit Yehudi are preventing the country from advancing the peace process.

Mitzna told the reporter that he called for weighing the possibility of Meretz and Labor joining the coalition.

On the subject of Iran, the MK said that it may be impossible to prevent a nuclear Iran and that a diplomatic avenue must be pursued. Mitzna stressed that a military option is not the appropriate solution.
