Head of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council Alon Schuster stated that "we all understand the need to live in shelters, yet we shouldn't send the boys to battle right away."

Speaking on Channel 11 following the Friday evening rocket attack on Gaza Border Communities by Hamas, Schuster made it clear that, in his opinion, local residents trust the IDF and do not hasten to call for a wide scale military operation in Gaza.

"Unchecked aggression will not bring more security," he said.
