Head of Tunisian Jewish community requests security

The head of the Tunisian Jewish community, Roger Bismuth, has requested from Tunisia's Prime Minister Mohammed Ghanoucci for better security for his community following protests by hundreds of demonstrators outside the communities largest synagogue.

Located mostly on the island of Djerba, the Jewish community has recent fallen to threats on its worshipers, and a general feeling on insecurity, despite claims that the arson committed on the large synagogue January was not an act of anti-Semitims.
