Isaac Herzog, the head of the opposition Zionist Union, offered praise on Sunday for the IDF operation that killed four militants who had crossed into Israeli territory from Syria in an attempt to plant explosives.

“I congratulate the IDF and its officers for the successful thwarting [of a terrorist attack] in the North, thus preventing a great tragedy,” Herzog said. “The IDF has once again proven its potency and capability in the face of a series of events on various fronts, including Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.”
