High Court rejects appeal on law to force-feed hunger strikers

The Israeli law permitting the forced feeding of hunger strikers is constitutional, the High Court of Justice ruled on Sunday.
The court upheld its position, rejecting a petition that argued that the law passed in July 2015 was unconstitutional.
The law was passed to address the issue of a large number of Palestinian detainees who engaged in hunger strikes against their detention.
