Histadrut announces new labor dispute on government's privatization plans

Just hours after the successful conclusion of negotiations to end work sanctions by postal employees, the Histadrut labor federation announced a labor dispute on the government's plans to partly or fully privatize the 11 state-owned companies, of which the Postal Company is one.

Privatization plans, it said, could endanger the livelihoods of the combined 43,000 employees at those companies, which include the Israel Electric Corporation, Israel Railways, and Raphae
