The Histadrut Labor Federation on Sunday scheduled a municipal-level strike for Tuesday February 9th, complaining that local authorities had not paid agreed-upon bonuses. The strike will include educational authorities and construction committees. The reason for the strike, Nissenkorn said, was the Local Authorities decision not to pay an agreed-upon NIS 1,000 bonus to employees, as stipulated in a recent deal struck over public sector wages. 'It is inconceivable that that the framework agreement will not be paid in full to the local authority workers,' he said.
