A massive stock of armament was uncovered overnight Thursday in a raid on an apartment in Haifa's Kiryat Eliezer neighborhood by Coastal District Police.

Two Haifa residents in their fifties were detained, police announced on Friday morning.

The apartment held standard-issue IDF explosives, starters, a silencer, magazines, munitions and other items. Army Radio reported the police suspect they were meant to be sold.
