IAF attacks Gaza Strip in response to rocket fire

IAF aircraft carried out attacks on Thursday morning on underground terror infrastructure in a Hamas military complex in the southern Gaza Strip, an IDF spokesman said on Thursday, Maariv reported.
The attack came in response to a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip at Israel on Wednesday night. The rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.
"The IDF will continue to work against attempts to harm Israeli citizens and sees the Hamas terrorist organization as responsible for everything done in and from the Gaza Strip," the IDF spokesman said, according to Maariv.
Anna Ahronheim contributed to this report.
