IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz departed on Sunday morning for a week-long visit to the US and Canada. Gantz is set to meet with security officials in Toronto, Ottawa, Washington, and New York to discuss mutual security challenges, military cooperation and the state of the Middle East, the IDF spokesperson said.
