IDF Chief of Staff meets with haredi soldiers

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz addresses ultra-Orthodox soldiers from the Nahal Haredi Netzah Yehuda Battalion Sunday at an army base near Jenin.

"I want to express my appreciation and thank you for your contribution," he told the troops. "I value the service you are doing and expect from each of the soldiers sitting here to bring another minyan of soldiers to enlist in the IDF."

Gantz emphasized that "the IDF enables a religious soldier to remain religious, an Orthodox soldier to remain Orthodox and a secular soldier to remain secular.
