The IDF has struck over 20 Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets in the Gaza Strip, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement released Monday.

The IDF deployed fighter planes, helicopters and tanks in its response.The IDF struck some ten targets in the northern Gaza Strip, including military installations and observation posts of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The IDF stuck an additional ten targets in southern Gaza.

A group of balloon launchers was also struck.

"The IDF is continuing its operation against terror targets throughout Gaza," the statement said.
