IDF admits Syrian wounded in civil war to hospital in Safed

A Syrian citizen injured in the country's civil war was allowed to enter Israel by the IDF and was taken for treatment at Ziv Hospital in Safed on Monday night.
The IDF stated that IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen Benny Gantz agreed to take in the moderately wounded Syrian for humanitarian reasons.
He will be returned to Syria following his treatment in Israel, the IDF added.
