IDF announces closure of West Bank for Yom Kippur holiday

The IDF has announced a closure of the West Bank for Yom Kippur [the Day of Atonement].

During the closure, passage beyond the Green Line into Israel will only be
permitted for humanitarian and medical purposes, and will require the approval 
of the Civil Administration. The closure begins Thursday night at 11:59 pm and will last until Saturday at 11:59 pm.
