IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot has been admitted to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikva to undergo a medical procedure of several hours, the IDF stated on Thursday. Eisenkot, whose health is otherwise fine, will be temporarily replaced by Major General Yair Golan while he will be hospitalized for the next few days following the procedure.
