The IDF released a statement on Saturday with the name of the soldier that was shot down on Friday by a sniper at the Gaza Strip border. Staff Sergeant Aviv Levi, 21 years old, was from Petah Tikva. He was killed by terrorist fire at the southern Gazan border.
