IDF fires missile into Syria in retaliation of errant shell hitting Golan

The IDF destroyed a Syrian army post on Saturday evening in retaliation to errant shells that hit the Golan Height, Israeli media reported.

The army fired a Tammuz missile into Syria towards the area the shells were fired from.According to reports in Israeli media, the army decided to return fire after several incidents of errant shells hitting the Golan on Saturday morning, and after repeated complaints from the IDF to the UN peacekeeping forces in the area about the issue.
