IDF injures Palestinian nearing Gaza border fence

Palestinian media reported on Wednesday that a Gazan man was injured by IDF fire in Gaza's Beit Lahiya area.

The IDF Spokesperson's Office said it identified two Palestinians approaching the security fence in the northern Strip. When they did not adhere to warning calls to stop in their tracks, Israeli soldiers opened fire at the legs of the Palestinians, the army said, confirming a direct hit.The two men then fled back to Gaza.

Health officials in Gaza said a 27-year-old man was evacuated to a local hospital with moderate injuries to his thighs, according to Palestinian media reports.
