The IDF was conducting searches in the Golan Heights on Wednesday after smoke was seen in the area of a town near the border with Syria.No injuries or damage were reported. Military sources said the IDF was checking the possibility that a stray mortar shell from Syria was responsible for the smoke.Syrian government forces and armed rebels were fighting on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, not far from the border.
