Five Palestinians were wounded from IDF fire on Friday near Beit-El in the West Bank during an army attempt to disperse a crowd of protesters, Israel Radio reported.

The wounded were transferred to the Red Cross for treatment.

Israel Radio quotes a security source as saying IDF snipers shot the Palestinians in accordance with IDF rules of engagement, after the army was unsuccessful in dispersing the crowd using other means.
