IDF soldier, 2 Palestinians wounded in anti-fence riots

An IDF soldier was lightly wounded on Friday afternoon during a violent anti-fence demonstration in Bil'in, after some 80 Palestinians and left-wing activists hurled rocks at security forces. Security forces were using anti-riot measures to disperse the riot. In Ni'lin Palestinians reported that a 20-year-old Palestinian was severely wounded after being struck in the head by a tear-gas canister fired by security forces during a violent anti-fence protest. Another man was wounded by live fire, Palestinians said.
