IDF soldier named as victim killed in West Bank ramming attack

The IDF announced on Thursday afternoon that IDF Sgt. Elchai Taharlev, 20, from the West Bank settlement of Talmon was identified as the victim who was killed in a vehicular ramming attack near Ofra earlier in the day. Taharlev was posthumously promoted to the rank of Sergeant First Class.

Another Israeli was lightly wounded in the incident that occurred on Route 60. The suspected Palestinian assailant has been detained by authorities.
