Israel Air Force struck a group of Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip who had launched incendiary balloons against Israel, the IDF Spokesperson's office said in a statement released Wednesday.

In a separate incident, IDF forces also arrested a Palestinian who attempted to cross the Gaza border fence and enter Israel in order to damage IDF soldiers and equiptment, the statement said.

The Palestinian was caught with incendiary material and a wire cutter. He has been held for questioning.
