IDF forces shot tank fire at a Hamas target in the Gaza Strip on Monday shortly after shots were fired at Israeli troops near the southern Gaza border.

The strike came in response to the terror organization shooting at Israeli soldiers stationed on the border near the southern Gaza Strip on Monday morning, the IDF said.

There were no reports of injury or damage in the incident.
