The IDF on Sunday decided to reopen the Kerem Shalom border crossing on Monday to allow goods to be transported into Gaza after it was closed throughout Sunday.

IDF spokesman Brig.-Gen.Yoav Mordechai said earlier Sunday evening that a period of calm earlier was broken by Palestinian attempts to fire rockets at Israel. "There's no talk of a ceasefire in the IDF," he said, adding, "We view Hamas as being responsible for the rockets."
