The identity of the former Israeli Navy commando officer suspected of involvement in the "submarines case," was released on Tuesday as Shai Brosh.

The submarines case, also known as Case 3000, is a police corruption investigation into Israel’s purchase of German-made naval vessels.

On Sunday Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s former chief of staff David Sharan was arrested for involvement with Case 3000, for suspicions of bribery, fraud, breach of trust and conspiracy to commit a crime.
