Police were dispatched after an incendiary balloon that is expected to have been launched from the Gaza Strip was found in Givat Ze'ev neighborhood of Jerusalem a short time ago, according to reports by Israeli media.

No fire or injuries have been reported. The police call on the public to exercise extreme caution with regard to such suspicious objects - kites and balloons, which may contain explosives and/or fire materials that may endanger public safety.

Rioters at the Gaza Strip border fence have been demonstrating for the past several months, sending incendiary kites and balloons incessantly into Israeli territory and causing hundreds of fires and the demolition of hundreds of acres of land.
