Two explosives tied to incendiary balloons went off in southern Israel near the border with the Gaza Strip, the Eshkol Regional Council said in a statement on Wednesday.
The balloons, which went off in the air, did not cause any damage or result in any injuries.
Palestinians have routinely launched the balloons from the coastal enclave, often drawing a response from the IDF.
