Incoming stormy weather may cause delays at Ben-Gurion Airport

As a result of incoming stormy weather, including strong winds, the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) warned that as of Monday night, passengers may experience delays in take-offs and landings at Ben Gurion Airport.
The IAA called upon members of the public to plan their arrival to the airport due to probable stormy road conditions as well as resultant traffic. Passengers are expected to arrive three hours before their scheduled departure, and should check updated flight schedules on the IAA website or smartphone application, the authority said.
Ben Gurion Airport staff are in the process of evacuating objects that could possibly fly in the wind, and airlines have received distributions about possibly necessary delays due to the exceptionally stormy weather, the IAA added.
