Iranian Revolutionary Guard Commander Brig. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari has declared that the US is too weak to deter the Iranian nuclear program, Press TV reported on Wednesday.

"They [Americans] know that they can't intimidate the Iranian nation with military options to meet their illegal demands," Jafari was cited by Press TV as saying.

The IRCG leader continued to dismiss the threat of a force-driven American action, stating that the US would pursue diplomatic options out of weakness.  "That's why we are witnessing an increase in the soft war, because they are not able to stage a military attack on Iran," he said.
